AI Safety Check-Up · 1:1 with Michaela

Make your family hard to hack.

AI has made scams, phishing and fake voices far more convincing. In one hour, we work through a simple checklist together so your accounts, devices and family are much harder to fool.

Calm, practical and done on your own phone and laptop. No tech background needed.

Why now

Scams got an AI upgrade.

The old warning signs, like bad grammar and strange requests from strangers, are fading fast.

Flawless phishing

AI writes polished, personal messages that look like they came from your bank, your boss or your kid's school.

Cloned voices

A short clip from social media can be enough to imitate a loved one's voice on the phone, asking for money fast.

Fake faces

Deepfake video and photos make it easier to pose as someone you trust, or to embarrass someone you love.

The good news: a handful of settings and habits stop most of it. That's what this hour is for.

What we'll cover

Ten areas, one hour.

We start with what matters most for you and get as far as the hour allows. You leave with the full Hard to Hack checklist, with Do First, Basic and Next Level steps, to finish at your own pace.

  1. Passwords and logins

A password manager, passkeys and two-step verification on the accounts that matter most.

  2. Email

The master key to everything else: recovery options, connected apps and hidden forwarding rules.

  3. Phone and number

A carrier number lock against SIM swaps, a strong passcode and stolen-phone protection.

  4. Updates and devices

Automatic updates, unused browser extensions cleared out, and backups, so known holes get closed.

  5. Home Wi-Fi

A router that isn't on its factory password, and smart gadgets kept in their place.

  6. Money and identity

Free credit freezes for you and your kids, and alerts on every transaction.

  7. Scams and AI fakes

The new tells now that typos are gone, and the pause-and-verify habit that beats them.

  8. Privacy, AI and what you share

Public posts, app permissions, what you tell AI chatbots, and people-search sites.

  9. Kids and teens

The conversations, settings and what to do if something happens online.

  10. Your family plan

A safe word, who to call, and what to do first if something goes wrong.

Who it's for

Anyone who'd rather not learn this the hard way.

  • Families with kids and teens who are online more than you'd like
  • Grown kids helping their parents, who are often the first ones scammers call. Bring them along.
  • Anyone who's had a close call: a strange text, a hacked account, or a call that almost fooled you

Bring your partner, teens or parents to the same session. Setting it up together is half the point.

Book a session

Book your AI Safety Check-Up.

Pick a time straight on my calendar. A couple of quick questions when you book tell me who's joining and what's worrying you, so the hour fits your family. You pay after your session.

Good to know

Questions people ask first.

Will you see my passwords?

No. You type every password yourself, and I never ask for or keep them. I guide; your accounts stay yours.

Do I need to be techy?

Not at all. If you can use your phone, you can do this. We go step by step and at your pace.

What if I've already been scammed?

Call your bank first and change the passwords you can. Then book a session and we'll lock everything else down together.
